As a half Chinese-y I have found myself more interested in South East Asia than anywhere else in the world. I try to eat as much as possible, taking in the superb tastes of every delicacy. I think my favourite is Peking Duck in Beijing! Not so favourite is the stinky Tofu I had in Hong Kong.

I am a big sucker for anything kawaii, so I’m looking forward to getting my hands on some Gudetama goodies.

Most of all I love learning about the history,¬†especially as there’s longer records of it, and seeing how it has shaped the country it is today. There is a lot of political ‘badness’ over there and it takes a lot to see past the bias media of the West and really understand why it is what it is.

The culture, the languages, the food, the sights (oh the sights!), the transport and the people are enough to make me come back time and time again.
